Anime Zero Traits
Every weapon in Anime Zero can hold a trait — a rollable modifier that changes how it fights. Traits are what turn a good weapon into a great one, and Trait Rerolls (from codes) are how you chase them. Here is every trait reported so far, plus how rerolling actually works.
All traits and reported effects
The community is still collecting exact numbers — where reports disagree, we say so instead of picking one. This is a reported list, not a ranking; a tested ranking will land on the tier list once reroll statistics hold up.
| Trait | Reported effect |
|---|---|
| Supernova | Reported +10% ATK, +8% cooldown reduction and +20% walk speed; community figures differ. Some players report a 1,000-reroll pity. Unconfirmed. |
| Bloodlust | Reported damage increase; lifesteal is unconfirmed. Some players report a 250-reroll pity. Unconfirmed. |
| Hunter | One report: +9% damage, +3% crit, +6% drops. Others add cooldown reduction, attack speed and movement speed. |
| Focus | Critical chance and critical damage. |
| Power | Early damage increase. |
| Swift | Attack speed or movement speed; reports differ. |
| Vitality | +15% health reported; roll odds estimates differ. |
| Fortune | Coins, EXP or drop bonuses; exact bonuses differ between reports. |
How trait rerolling works
- Open the Enchants station in the lobby with the weapon you want to reroll selected.
- The game shows the reroll cost (Trait Rerolls) before you confirm.
- Confirm and the weapon rolls a new trait — the game shows a replacement prompt so you can compare the old roll against the new one.
- Keep or accept. Rerolling never changes the weapon itself, only its trait.
Reroll tips from the first weeks
- Check your slots before rolling. Several players report that summoning at the Arsenal while a weapon is equipped can replace it — and its trait with it. Unequip or double-check Slot 1 and Slot 2 first.
- Save Trait Rerolls for high-rarity weapons. Rerolling an Epic you will replace tomorrow is a waste; codes and the update log make more of them available every patch, so stock up first.
- Pity is unconfirmed. Players report soft pity around 250 rerolls for Bloodlust and 1,000 for Supernova, but nothing official. Treat those numbers as community estimates, not guarantees.
- Rare does not always mean best for your build. A Focus or Hunter roll on a crit-based weapon can out-damage a greedily-chased Supernova. Match the trait to the weapon's playstyle.
Which traits should you chase?
The honest answer for now: Supernova and Bloodlust look like the top rolls based on how expensive their reported pity is, with Hunter and Focus close behind for damage builds — but no tested ranking exists yet. Once the community's reroll statistics settle, our trait tier list will rank all eight with reasoning.
